PARKING

  • Undercover parking is available in the Law Chambers Carpark with access via the laneway running off Pier Street along the right hand side of the theatre.
  • The carpark is only open for evening performances from 6.00pm to midnight at a cost of $5.00 per vehicle. Patrons should check their tickets for confirmation of Carpark hours.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

  • ACROD parking bays are subject to availability in the Law Chambers Carpark.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

  • Playhouse Theatre is located on the main Perth city bus routes on St Georges Terrace, and nearby Barrack Street.
  • The free Central Area Transport RED CAT route includes a stop near the Playhouse Theatre on Pier Street. The RED CAT operates every five minutes from 6.40am-6.20pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays), and hourly on the weekends between 8.30am and 5pm.
  • Perth Railway Station is just a five minute walk from the Theatre.

FACILITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

The management of Playhouse Theatre endeavours to accommodate patrons with disabilities whenever possible. However, due to the production requirements of some events, these special facilities can sometimes become limited.

We therefore recommend that all patrons with special requirements state their needs at the time of booking tickets.

Our usual facilities include:

  • Wheelchair access to the auditorium via the laneway on the right hand side of the building.
  • Wheelchair accessible toilet
  • Special allocated seating in the auditorium
  • An infra-red hearing system available on request

  • Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break during the performance.
  • Mobile telephones and electronic devices are to be turned off during the performance.
  • Cameras, video cameras and tape recorders will not be permitted without the consent of the promoter.
